Warming and Nourishing Breakfast Recipe
Looking to give your digestive system a break?
Try stewed apples for breakfast! It’s quicker than making oatmeal and warms up your digestive fire to prepare it for a hearty lunch all while keeping you satisfied and full for at least 2-3 hours. It literally tastes like apple pie filling y’all 🤣. Here’s the recipe!
Spiced and Stewed Apples
1 Apple diced
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
2 cloves or 1/8 tsp ground cloves
1-inch piece of fresh grated ginger
A pinch of sea salt
1/2 cup purified water
1 tbsp flax meal
1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
3-5 strawberries chopped
A handful of blueberries
Add all of the ingredients to a pot except for the berries and simmer on low for 5-7 minutes. Top with room temperature berries and hemp seeds if you like.
